Throw Back Play of the Week

The NBA Finals always bring out the best in players. It makes average players look like superstars and it makes superstars look like they are basketball gods. With that being said superstar Julius Erving performed a move that is still shown in TV shows and commercials all over the U.S. He performed a move that players like Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, and Michael Jordan would have a hard time doing. In Game 5 of the 1980 NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers Julius Erving made history he executed arguably the best play in NBA history.

  1. I dont feel like that play is the best in history because you have to realize that there has been some many historic plays that have been made by legends of the game such as magic, jordan, bird, just to name a few and people are going to debate this but its in my top 10 of all time.

  2. I think the greatest NBA play of all times was Michael Jordan’s last second shot against the Utah Jazz to win his 6th NBA Championship during Game 6 of the NBA Finals. That’s was a shot for the ages and is still looped on ESPN today!

  3. One of my favorite NBA plays was the crossover that Allen Iverson put on Michael Jordan and then pulled back to hit the jumper over Jordan. Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3X274lz3wY
